Why & where did you start your yoga journey?
I have always loved to be active, practicing gymnastics as a kid and when I started to work a very physical job started to feel some aches and pains. I began to practice yoga when I was 25 and right away felt it was what I needed. My first classes were at a local winery from a family friend.
How long have you been practicing yoga?
Since 2013
What do you feel people can gain from yoga?
Contentment. Ease of pain, anxiety, discomfort and letting go of things that are not helpful.
What has yoga done for you personally?
All of the above and more. Especially the physical pains and knowing myself better.
What is your fondest teaching memory at Root River Yoga?
The first time I taught at Ridgeway, everyone was so accepting and eager to learn with me. A great community.
